![]() ![]() Mojang support have a strong stance on proof of ownership. The more useful details you include to prove your ownership, the quicker your issue may be resolvedĪdd as many useful details as possible and prepare to wait a week or more for support to answer Use the guide in the above linked megathread on what to mention in your ticket My recommendation is to take a few hours to properly draft a good request to them with as many details as possible Send an account ticket to Mojang support team. I've written a guide that will run through all the other avenues you could try to regain access to your account Link to migration issues guide ![]() If that does not work - or is not an option: That can allow you to change your email address without accessing your old email account If you have a Mojang account (you login with an email address username)Īnd haven't yet tried your secret questions - give them a go Oh well.Ī lot of people have the same problem about migrationĮg : not having access to the original email account anymore I feel a little bit cheated as well, as at no point in time did I lose the password or email to the account and yet because of a forced decision mojang made, I am no longer able to use the product I paid for. Looking for any help I can get here, best case scenario maybe getting into contact with a support member who can talk to me rather than just copy and pasting a response. So I responded with this information and support never got back to me :( This was a week ago and I am really at the end of my wits with this thing, the account has a lot of sentimental (and monetary) value to me, in the account itself but also in the worlds I have, creative plots I will lose access to, and I even have donator status on some servers. Which would have been great! Except for the fact that I guess it wasn't mandatory to have these security questions set up when I created my account, and there are none. So I send in another support ticket explaining this, and the support guy sent me a link to the security questions page, which is apparently another way to change your account email address. So I spent a long time searching for the transaction ID, but, as my luck would have it, during the period and method which I used to buy the account, the ONLY way to get this transaction ID is- you guessed it- in an email, sent to the deleted account. So I sent in a support ticket and they told me that in order to change the email associated with the account, I needed a transaction ID. Anyway, when the forced migration happened, they send you a verification email, which is currently impossible to get, because it's in the deleted email account (and no I can't even make a new email under the same I tried). Not going to post it in public but I can DM to Mojang support. Not even sure when it was deleted, after all, why would an email address be deleted? I can assure you though, it is, and I have evidence the email was deleted and I also have mountains of evidence proving I own and have always owned the account. So I have a Minecraft account that I've played on since I bought it in 2012 pretty consistently, and it was registered using an old Yahoo Email address which was completely deleted by Yahoo without warning.
